Indianapolis is the capital of the U.S. condition of Indiana and the seat of Marion County. The city is home to the National Football League’s Colts and the National Basketball Association’s Indiana Pacers. Historical centers incorporate the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art, the Indiana State Museum, the NCAA Hall of Champions, and a prestigious youngsters’ gallery. The Artsgarden community for the visual and performing expressions opened in 1995.
